Folder Brick Chrome Extension
Last updated: January 2025
Folder Brick is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our Chrome extension handles your data.
Data Collection
Folder Brick does NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All data created and managed by the extension is stored exclusively on your local device using Chrome's built-in storage API.
Local Storage Only
Your folder structures, bookmarks, and preferences are stored 100% locally on your computer. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
No Account Required
Folder Brick does not require user registration or login. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no personal information collected.
No Analytics or Tracking
We do not use any analytics, tracking pixels, or monitoring tools within the extension. Your usage of the extension is completely private.
Permissions Explained
The extension requires the 'storage' permission solely to save your folder organization data locally. It requires access to gemini.google.com and chatgpt.com to display the sidebar interface on these websites.
Data Export
You can export your data at any time using the built-in export feature. The exported JSON file contains only your folder structure and bookmark data.
